Suffolk Council 7363 has been selling Christmas Trees independently since 2008.  We assisted the Suffolk Jaycees for several years before that at their retail lot here in Suffolk.  After decades of wholesale and retail lot sales, the Suffolk Jaycees closed shop, and we carried on with the tradition of providing fresh-cut, high-quality Christmas Trees to the Suffolk community and surrounding area. Our retail lot, totaling approximately 400 trees, is one of our primary fundraising events.  We are a non-profit organization and money raised from tree sales directly serves the many charities we support locally.  We, as did the Jaycees, procured our trees, primarily #1 & #2 Fraser Firs (6’ – 12’), from western PA.  Several years ago, the nursery we both had been using for many of those 60+ years, unexpectedly closed.  For the past several years we have been sourcing our trees from a NC nursery located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
